The municipality of Birsfelden wanted to concentrate its at several locations distributed music school at the primary school Sternenfeld. This goal was achieved with a conversion and an extension. The addition is a wooden element structure, with the facade corresponding to the tone grooves of a vinyl record, which reproduces the Birsfeld March.
